Over 30 representatives of prominent mystery shopping providers in Latin America have gathered to exchange ideas and discuss challenges the industry is facing in the region. Business leaders from Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and others came to the conference along with MSPA members from the USA and Europe. Among the notable speakers, for instance, there was Alejandro Garnica Andrade, the vice-president of a regional business intelligence research association AMAI, with a report on market research industry in Latin America. Mystery shopping industry in Latin America is developing rapidly, taking advantage of the recent economic boom in the region and the improvements in infrastructure, business climate in its biggest economies, and, as a result, growing competition at the customer service and retail market.
Beside the conference program and heated discussions, we all had great fun in Cancun and explored the surrounding historic and natural places of interest, such as the world-famous Mayan complex Chi Chen Itza with its beautiful pyramids.
