Over the recent years Azerbaijan has shown remarkable economic and population growth, propelled not just by its oil exports but also by the wise economic policy of the government that has created favorable business conditions in the country and lured in foreign investors.

According to the annual ranking of Doing Business-2015 prepared by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, Azerbaijan has improved its position compared to last year's ranking and entered the list of top 20 countries in terms of preparing the ground for starting a business. According to the report, Azerbaijan is among the top 10 countries in terms of the greatest number of reforms carried out in the country. The country has implemented reforms in the fields of starting business, registration of property and payment of taxes.

Azerbaijan's all macroeconomic indicators favor the profitability of doing business in the country. In recent years, the non-oil industry in Azerbaijan has developed rapidly. The country’s GNP is $75 bln. and population is 9.5 mln. people as of 2013. Meanwhile, the average salary of the nation has increased by twenty-fold over the last 20 years. The growth of incomes of population has affected positively to the successful business activities in Azerbaijan.

Baku has joined the ranks of the most beautiful and alluring cities of the world with its unique architecture wonders such as the Flame Towers or Heydar Aliyev Center, along with the charming Old City quarters.

Thanks to its rapid growth today we observe a large and developing consumer market in this post-soviet South Caucasus country, with a growing number of consumers needing a professional and stable customer service from local providers.
4Service intends our office in Baku to serve as a starting point for expansion in the Caucasus and the Middle East, with further offices to open here soon, in order to help local businesses measure and improve service quality across the countries in these regions.

We should say honestly this development is just an excuse for us to travel there frequently. Because to visit the South Caucasus means to enjoy the incredibly tasty though very different cuisine of the region (that mixes in centuries of the region’s history and outside influences), the warmest possible hospitality of the local people and the beautiful landscapes, all of which stays in one’s soul forever.
